چکیده: انتخاب شیوه های تولید آهن و فولاد به روش كوره قوس الكتریكی و غیره می تواند به نوع كمیت ذخایر مواد اولیه در دسترس و عیار آنها بستگی داشته باشد . همچنین انتخاب فرایندهای احیای مستقیم در كوره های تنوره دار ،كوره ها ی دوار،بسترهای سیال و غیره نیز به نوع سنگ آهن و عیار آهن در دسترس بستگی دارد،زیرا در روشهای احیای مستقیم سنگ آهن و نیز نوع و كیفیت مواد اولیه می تواند در كیفیت آهن اسفنجی، چدن و فولاد تولیدی و در نتیجه مصرف انرژی، مواد ،استهلاك كوره ها و بازده آنها در فرایند تولید آهن و فولاد تأثیر داشته باشد.تركیب گاز خروجی نیز خود متأثر از نوع سنگ آهن و بازده گاز احیاكننده بوده و می تواند در فرایند تولید گاز در برخی از روشها در طول كاتالیزورهای مصرفی مؤثر باشد.ماده اولیه برای ساخت و تولید گندله :برای گندله سازی سنگهای آهن خرد و آسیا شده با دانه بندی بین صفر و صد میكرون در سطح جهان به عنوان خوراك گندله عرضه می گردد. این ماده اولیه در صورت آسیاكردن تكمیلی در مدتی كوتاه برای واحدهای احیای مستقیم مانند مجتمع های فولاد اهواز و مباركه كه مجهز به تجهیزات گندله سازی هستند، باری مناسب بشمار می آیند. در برخی از فرایندهای احیای مستقیم از گندله خام و خام سخت شده نیز استفاده می شود.ماده اولیه برای ساخت و تولید كلوخه :سنگهای آهن تجاری با دانه بندی زیر 10 میلیمتر (معمولا 6 میلیمتر) برای كاربرد در كوره بلند و واحدهای احیای مستقیم در سطح جهانی به عنوان خوراك كلوخه عرضه می گردد. این مواد برای استفاده در كوره بلند مستقیماً به بار اولیه دستگاه كلوخه سازی اضافه می شود و برای استفاده در روشهای احیای مستقیم میتواند بعد از آسیا شدن مجدد به مواد بار اولیه گندله نیز اضافه گردد.
